Gary fancies himself a teacher, pastor, and writer—and there are some who would agree with him on at least one of those. He took his PhD at the University of St Andrews (Scotland) and currently teaches and oversees faculty at the Akron, Ohio campus of Grace College & Theological Seminary. Gary has been married to Marla, the most beautiful woman to have graced the earth, for 45 years. He and Marla have 4 grown children who are really cool and 6 grandchildren who are even cooler. Gary tries to watch as much NFL football as he can, loves to study and write, and is pretty sure he is addicted to Mountain Dew.
