Lawful Subjection to the Civil Magistrate and Dutiful Resistance to Tyrants
Does Romans 13 command Christians a near unqualified obedience toward the civil magistrate? Is there an appropriate occasion and even a duty to resist tyranny, even if the tyranny is not sinful, per se? The aim of this book is to shed light on the fact that Paul's appeal for submission to governmental authorities in Romans 13 is far narrower than it so often gets treated...
A Book for the Demands of Our Day?
This is the first part of many short entries that cover “The T&T Clark Handbook of Neo-Calvnism” book edited by Nathaniel Gray Sutanto and Cory Brock. “The T&T Clark Handbook of Neo-Calvnism” is 40 chapters and covers 557 pages. “Trust the science” rhetoric is nothing new
Abraham Kuyper would’ve thrown-up in his mouth if he had to watch the folly that was Pfizer’s commercial that aired during the Super Bowl. Pfizer’s “Trust the science” rhetoric is nothing new. A Life in Journalism an Alternative Biography
As a politician, Kuyper primarily voiced his ideas in his own daily newspaper, De Standaard, and as a theologian he wrote first and foremost for his own weekly magazine, De Heraut. He literally worked seven days a week alternately on this daily and weekly. His total production for the weekly was not much less than that for his daily, because he supplied more columns for De Heraut. His main articles appeared in De Standaard on fixed days: on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. His output for De Heraut usually amounted to three or four different articles and was also accomplished during the week...

The release of Natural Theology by Geerhardus Vos is incredibly timely. Recently the debates around “natural theology” and “Thomism” have begun to heat up again. What knowledge of God does natural man possess? If he knows God, what is natural man capable of doing with that knowledge? What is he...

Join us as we sit down with Stephen Wolfe, author of “The Case for Christian Nationalism,” and consider what the specifics of a Christian Nation might look like when applied (what to do with Mormon? Effeminates and butch ladies with blue hair? Taylor Swift, etc.).
Translated from the Dutch to English for the first time ever
When the publisher kindly requested me to introduce to you this new edition of the Book of Martyrs, I sensed that, rather than recommending the work with a few platitudes... I ought instead to warn you briefly against a threefold danger that exists with respect to the Book of Martyrs....
